Singer, guitarist and songwriter Bonnie Raitt is an institution in American music. The nine-time Grammy award winning artist’s interest in music was sparked when she given a Stella guitar at eight years old. Her love for blues grew until she signed with Warner Brothers Records and produced her first album in 1971. Throughout the 1970s, ‘80s and ‘90s, Raitt’s celebrity status grew as she produced over a dozen popular albums and produced some of the industry’s most memorable singles such as “Something to Talk About,” “You Got It,” and “Thing Called Love.” Today, Raitt is back on the touring circuit, much to the delight of her millions of fans.

Singer, self-taught instrumentalist and two-time Grammy winner Taj Mahal has been performing since a young age. Born in Springfield, Mass. in 1942, Taj was surrounded by many diverse musical backgrounds. From then on, he grew and developed his very distinctive musical style, mixing Caribbean, African, Latin and Cuban sounds that were all layered atop a solid country blues foundation. Taj Mahal is a musical legend in many ways but mainly for tracing many American music forms back to their African and European roots.
