Rock artist Jackson Browne proves to be an enduring force in the rock music industry. With albums and songs spanning four decades, Browne has collaborated with some of rock music’s other big players such as The Byrds, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and The Eagles. Legendary in their own right, Browne’s popular singles including “Doctor My Eyes,” “Running on Empty,” and his biggest hit, “Somebody’s Baby,” landed him in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Browne’s latest album, Time the Conqueror, was released in late 2008. Besides his music, Browne is also known for his charitable works, namely for contributing to the album Songs for Tibet, a initiative underlining the human rights situation in Tibet.
