Get your group together at Heffron Park’s Horton Pavilions during the State Fair! Located just east of the Grandstand, this by-reservation-only picnic area welcomes groups, rain or shine. A great place for company picnics, appreciation dinners, class reunions, anniversary parties or family celebrations!

Take your group to a concert at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand! Group orders can now be placed for Party Deck tickets to any show! Party Decks are located on the east and west ends of the Grandstand venue on top of the Plaza-level concession stands. They feature a private Party Deck-only bar serving snacks and select beverages available for purchase; exclusive restrooms for Party Deck guests only; general admission standing-room-only, no chairs; and wheelchair accessible lift. Party Decks also feature an amazing view of the nightly fireworks at the conclusion of the show!
Grandstand group orders are only accepted for the Party Decks, which are general admission; buyers must select East or West Party Deck when placing orders. All other sections of the Grandstand, including Pit tickets and reserved seating, are not available for group orders, and concert ticket limits apply.

Groups arriving at the State Fair by bus may use the University of Minnesota Transitway to avoid traffic and park in a designated lot for free!

Each of these dining vouchers has a value of $5 and may be used toward purchases at approximately 40 concession locations. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash; however, change will be given. The State Fair Blue Ribbon Bargain Book, sponsored by Minnesota Lottery, is just $5 and has 100 coupons with huge savings on food, merchandise and attractions, valid all 12 days of the fair. Pass the books around and let everyone clip their favorite coupons, or offer Bargain Books to each member of your group as a prize or gift! Purchase books wherever pre-fair discount admission tickets are sold before the fair begins. Books are available during the fair at State FairWear Gift Shops and Bargain Book & State Fair Poster Carts.

No expertise required – just a willingness to help your fellow fair fans make the most of their day! PLUS, each volunteer receives a FREE admission ticket to the fair!
