With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® inductees Def Leppard – Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums) – continue to be one of the most important forces in rock music. The band’s classic groundbreaking multi-platinum albums have set the bar for generations of music fans and artists. The group’s spectacular live shows and an arsenal of hits have become synonymous with their name, leading Def Leppard to be heralded as the world’s greatest live rock band. Def Leppard’s influential career includes two of the best-selling albums of all time, “Pyromania” and “Hysteria” – the former now celebrating its 40th anniversary, capturing the group’s legendary hits such as “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Foolin.” For the first time, in 2018 Def Leppard debuted their full recording catalog worldwide via streaming and download platforms. As they did with the original release of their records, Def Leppard dominated the worldwide charts, charting in the iTunes Top 10 in more than 30 countries, including “Hysteria” at No. 3 in the U.S. and No. 5 in the U.K., 36 years after the album charted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. The band has amassed a staggering 5.5 billion streams since 2018, reaching a younger 18-44 demographic that now represents 58 percent of their fanbase. Additionally, the band has garnered an impressive 18 million followers across their social media platforms. In 2022, Def Leppard released their critically and commercially acclaimed 12th studio album, “Diamond Star Halos.” The album debuted at No. 1 on the Apple and Amazon Music charts, scored a Top 10 debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, marking the band’s eighth Top 10 album, and garnered a No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hard Rock chart. Following this success, the band released their 13th studio album, “Drastic Symphonies” with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2023. The album charted at No. 4 on the U.K. album charts and spent an impressive 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Classical chart. In 2023, the band scored a U.K. No. 1 Netflix film with their cameo in the acclaimed movie “Bank of Dave.” The band will return for the film’s highly anticipated sequel, “Bank of Dave 2,” set for release in 2025. For their historic 2018 co-headline stadium and arena run in North America, Def Leppard sold more than 1 million tickets, a massive feat in today’s touring world. Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe topped that with a sold-out stadium run in 2022 and 2023, selling over 2.1 million tickets performing in 27 countries on five continents. As always, the group pushed the boundaries with their electrifying live shows and filled stadiums across North America with Journey on their Summer Stadium Tour. Most recently, the band teamed up with legendary guitarist Tom Morello for their single “Just Like 73,” which soared to No. 1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock chart.
Brother Cane is an American rock band originally from Birmingham, Ala. Formed by singer-guitarist Damon Johnson and bassist Glenn Maxey in 1991, the group released three studio albums with several charting singles, including three No. 1s and five Top 10 hits. The band found immediate success with the release of its self-titled debut album, which delivered three singles: “Got No Shame,” “That Don’t Satisfy Me” and “Hard Act To Follow.” “Got No Shame” reached No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock charts and garnered the band U.S. tours with Aerosmith, Robert Plant and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band’s third album, “Seeds,” yielded another No. 1 with “And Fools Shine On.” This hit led to a lengthy and successful tour in support of the mighty Van Halen. Their last release, “Wishpool,” included Brother Cane’s third No. 1 song, “I Lie In The Bed I Make.” After personnel changes at Virgin Records, as well as a major shift in radio format styles, the band went on an extended hiatus. During this time, Johnson toured as the guitarist for rock legends Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy. In early 2021 Johnson was asked to fill in for the legendary guitarist and founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gary Rossington, a position that Johnson still holds today. While touring with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnson was surprised at how many fans not only remembered Brother Cane, but shared stories on how much the band and their songs meant to them. “Will you ever get back together? Would you ever tour again? Please!?” The band answered, “Hell, yes!” After a 30-date run in 2023-24, Brother Cane is headed back to the studio with original producer Marti Frederiksen and will be performing select dates and a full tour in 2025-26. Brother Cane is: Damon Johnson, guitars and lead vocal; Glenn Maxey, bass; Jarred Pope, drums; Tony Higbee, guitars and backing vocals; and Buck Johnson, keyboards and backing vocals.
