Volunteer & Fundraise at the Fair

Volunteers and Fundraising groups are critical to the Great Minnesota Get-Together! These essential folks help make the fair memorable and engaging. Work with a team to earn funds for your organization, or donate your time to help fellow fair fans get the most out of their day!

Volunteering

Give the gift of your time by volunteering, plus we’ll include a FREE admission ticket to the fair! No expertise required – just a willingness to help your fellow fair fans make the most of their day. Most shifts are two to three hours, and we’ll show you what to do. Sign up solo or with a group at many of our educational exhibits, or get involved with the Minnesota State Fair Foundation. Opportunities Include:

Fundraising

The Minnesota State Fair offers a great way for your team, organization or community group to team-build WHILE raising funds! Shifts range from 6-12 hours, and opportunities are available each year during the 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair. Duties may include working on fairgrounds clean-up teams, in the barns or with our transportation services. No prior experience is needed; we provide training, equipment and supplies. Please note: Workers must be at least 16 years old. Opportunities Include:
